Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

 GUIDELINES FOR WRITING ARTICLES

  1. Articles received are articles that have never been published in any journal in the form of or have not been accepted (accepted) for publication
  2. Articles in the form of community service that have relevance to the field of education, human resource development, health, human development and national competitiveness, small and medium enterprises and development of environmentally sound technology and appropriate technology.
    The article is accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the author stating that the article was written is truly his own work and does not contain plagiarism.

Writing system

  1. Articles consist of 3000-5000 words, typed with spaces 1 on A4 size paper with Times New Roman font size 11. Writing that will be loaded using Indonesian and English
  2. The composition of the article consists of: Title, Writer, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Bibliography.

Article Writing Conditions:

Title: maximum of 15 words. The title is typed in the letters Times New Roman, 14 letters are flat left ordinary print.

author's name: or the writers are typed under the title with Times New Roman 10 font in bold, without titles and may not be abbreviated. Under the name is written the field of expertise, institution name, address, and email of the author.

Abstract: no more than 300 words, written in English and Indonesian, in a paragraph containing: the purpose of service, methods of activity, and results of activities. Typed with Times New Roman font, single-spaced, and italicized. Under the abstract there are keywords with a maximum of 5 words, separated by semicolons, double spaced typed under the abstract.

Introduction: Introduction is typed in capital letters [fonts New Times Roman 12 bold] containing background to addressing a problem, urgency, and rationalization of activities, literature review, problem-solving plan, and purpose of activity [Times New Roman font, 11, normal]

Method: The research method explains: implementation methods used in service activities. The method is described clearly and in detail [Times New Roman font, 11, Normal]

Results and Discussion: Describing the results or outcomes of service can be in the form of increasing knowledge, skills or in the form of products. The results also reveal the level of achievement of the target activities. If in the form of objects there needs to be an explanation of product specifications, advantages, and disadvantages. Output writing needs to be equipped with photos, tables, graphs, charts, pictures, etc. The discussion is sequential in the order in which the objectives are and has been explained beforehand. The discussion is accompanied by a logical argument by linking the results of PkM with the theory, the results of other PkM and or research results.

Conclusion: written briefly but describes the substance of the results of dedication and recommendations for subsequent service activities.

Reference: Bibliography is written based on the APA 5th (American Psychological Association) model. It is highly nested using the Reference manager (end note, Mendeley, Zotero, etc.) to facilitate editing and review. Sources referenced and at least 80% in the form of literature published in the last 5 years. [Times New Roman, 11, normal].

Conclusions and Suggestions: Conclusions contain a brief summary of the results of the research and discussion. Conclusions are research findings in the form of answers to research questions or research objectives. The results of the study provide suggestions/contributions to the application and/or development of science. [Times New Roman, 11, normal].
